Dr. Franks calf puller saves the day or night in my case.

This is a product you hope to never have to use, but when needed it's a life saver. Dr. Franks calf puller paid for itself the first time out of the box. The situation, Sunday afternoon 7pm. one of our heifer's is having trouble calving. My dad and me suspect she did not ovulate properly. Everything seems to be fine with the calfs presentation. After getting the ob chains on it's feet we couldn't pull it by hand so we got Dr. Franks calf puller out and after four clicks of the handle we had a nice bull calf on the ground. Vet's don't like to come to the farm in our area so we have learned to do things for ourselves when possible, this puller could not be simpler to use. The money saved by not having to get a vet on Sunday and possible loosing the calf to time payed for the puller. Everyone that has a cow calf operation big or small should have one. The rachet didn't slide down the rod very freely but that tells me the tolerances are close and should not wear out for years.
