I've been riding since I could jump on a shetland and that has been well over 30 years ago. These E-Z Knees are a god-send to me. I'm only about 5 foot tall so my stirrups are up right next to my fenders. I have a well made saddle with heavy leather and have twisted my stirrups and put a broom stick through them to try to get the leather to bend to relieve my knees when spending a long time in the saddle and nothing has helped. I found these and OMG!! I was in the saddle for 5 hours last week and no pain in my knees. I never HAD to drop my stirrups once to relieve my knees. I will be telling anyone who suffers the same problem about these! LOVE THEM

Great Product...check your saddle first...

I bought this product to relieve and prevent the soreness in my knees when spending long hours in the saddle. My saddle is a barrel racing saddle...not really suited for trail riding, but I had bought it as a compromise with my husband who also wanted to use it. Anyway, although it's a NICE saddle, it kills my knees after only an hour...I've tried soaking it and twisting the leathers, but none of this worked. After a long clinic, I was limping for about three days and decided I would try this product. It is fairly easy to assemble; however, what I didn't know was that putting these on would lengthen my stirrups about two inches. The bad part of this was that I am very short and already had my stirrups nearly as high as they would go...we ended up punching another hole in the stirrup leathers..(hard because I have Blevins buckles) but it was still too long. It did alleviate my knee torque but I couldn't go any faster than a trot or I would lose my stirrups. I may have to take my saddle to a saddle repair to see if he can add another peice of leather on top of the buckle strap so I can raise it another notch and still use the EZ's either that or take them off or buy another saddle I can use them with. They work well, it's just that you may have to be careful with how it will affect the length of your stirrups. If you're already at the highest notch and you have Blevins buckles, it may not work for you.
