Hoofjack Is An Excellent Product
Posted By: Cindy E. (BUCKEYE, AZ) Jan 31, 2012

I've had my hoofjack for over 4 yrs & it is still in perfect condition. It has been kicked, knocked over & stepped on & still practically blemish free. I also don't worry about the horses injuring themselves on it since there are no sharp edges. The Hoofjack is well worth the cost for anyone just getting into trimming their own horses or a professional farrier.

I recently purchased a Hoof Jack to use for picking, trimming & filing my two quarter horses' hooves. Since I am a 60 year old female, it is not as easy for me to handle my horses' feet as it was when I was younger, but the Hoof Jack fixed that problem for me! This is a snap to use and even came with a DVD video showing exactly how to properly use this piece of equipment. I love it and highly recommend it to everyone who does maintenance on their horses' hooves. Canby, MN

Hoof Jack
Posted By: Marcia Hamilton (Middletown, NY) Jul 19, 2008

I'm a lady, 62 years old with a heart problem. About three weeks ago I trimmed my four year old trotting stallion who is EXTREMELY well behaved and stands like a rock when I trim or shoe him. However, because of my heart problem (11 stents!) it takes me awhile and I have to sit down frequently because I get so out of breath having to hold his legs up while I do the work. I got a Hoof Jack two days ago and I COULD NOT believe the difference in the decrease in effort of trimming my horse. The Jack does all the work of holding and I just trim away with a smile on my face. I was able to buy this Hoof Jack from a blacksmith acquaintence of mine because he used it once and didn't like it because the first time he used it the horse's hoof slid off. I asked him if he looked at the DVD supplied with it and he said no. Well, duh, you guys!! Watch the video and learn and in the process you'll be saving yourselfs a whole lot of energy. I had Paco's hoof on the hoof support, walked ten feet away to get some ointment for a little sore he has and when I turned around, he still had his hoof resting on the support!! I guess you could say he was real comfortable! You will be too. Buy this and WATCH THE DVD SUPPLIED! You won't be sorry.

I ordered the HoofJack for my boyfriend who takes care of our 3 horses hooves. My boyfriend has a bad back and that makes this a BIG job. What made things worse is my young mare had a fairly serious rope burn and this made her foot shy. We both knew it would be tough the first time he nipped her hoves. The HoofJack was a birthday present and my boyfriend wasn't too impressed. He said he was glad I bought it, because it was something he's never buy himself. Well, he was singing a different tune after he used it. My mare did wonderfully - she was a dream (she hated having her hoof held between my boyfriend's knees). Not only did she do well, but our 27 year old Morgan with a twitch in his back leg, did much better too. This product works wonderfully and the instructional DVD is wonderful. Thanks for such a fantastic product.

My #1 tool!
Posted By: Ksherrard (PLEASANT HILL, MO) Feb 11, 2008

This product is a true back-saver! I trim my own horses, and let me just say that being a woman and doing such a "heavy" job, this tool is a must! My horses stand a lot more calmly as compared to when I would just put their hoof on my leg. You will not be disappointed!

A real back saver - a must if you EVER work on your horse's feet.
Posted By: kweenstefanny (SANTA ROSA, CA) Nov 1, 2007

I've had a hard time finding farriers who will come out just to do trims on my 4 barefoot horses, and when I do find one, they don't want to trim the feet the way I want them. So, I started trimming them myself, which was great until I injured my back falling off a horse and couldn't trim for 3 months. Then, I could only do 2 feet each day before my back hurt too much to go on. I ordered a Hoof Jack and started using it immediately after it got here. Now I can trim 2 horses in one day without it causing any pain! Thank you so much Hoof Jack. P.S. The instructional DVD that comes with it is really helpful.

trimmer essential

I use my hoof jack on 8-12 horses per day, ranging from ponies/donkeys to warmbloods and drafts. Horses have literally stood on it and it has not broken/collapsed. It is easy to adjust and the base is secure and does not tip like a tripod. Also, if a horse should kick it over there is less chance of injury to you or them. Awesome product, I couldn't conduct business without it.
