It actually allows me to keep my horse barefoot, even in the dry weather of summer! And, as a plus, it's awesome for my hands and fingernails. My fingernails have never been so strong and they seem to grow quicker! I love this stuff. I keep a jar of it at my desk at work and co-workers always stop by for some.
