Easyboot Glove Wide
Posted By: HDwire (NEW LEBANON, OH) Apr 9, 2013

I've been using another brand of barefoot boots and they were great for intial use. But over time, my horse's hooves have changed due to trims, injuries, use, etc. So I needed a new pair. I was hesitant, but knew that EASYBOOT has good products. Not only THAT, but EASYBOOT now offers a "FIT KIT" where they will ship you three consecutive sizes after taking a measurement for trial, then you know which boot EXACTLY you need. This allows for a side by side comparison, without hurting the checkbook. EASYBOOT also offers smaller increments in sizing, only 4mm difference between each boot size, allowing for a more snug fit. And that these new pairs of boots do on my horses, fit snug, without rub, and stay on and dirt free through water, mud, rocks. TROTTING over rocks. I love it. My horses are thrilled and so am I.

Love the Easyboot Gloves!!!

If you are transitioning to natural hoofcare the easyboot gloves are an absolute must! I bought the gloves for my currently transitioning OTTB. Make sure you measure the hooves and order the correct size. We have galloped all over the country side, jumped, crossed creeks, gone back country riding and have never had an issue with the boots falling off, rubbing, etc. I do need to check the boots periodically to make sure there are no sticks, dirt, etc. that could cause rubs, but that's really only when we are in some very rough terrain. I also bought the power straps for the front hooves. I have put on a lot of miles on the boots and they are holding up great. The stitching will eventually start to fray and rip on the gaitors, but can be fixed at a minimal expense. Also, there have been complaints about the screws falling out, I just make sure I tighten them after each ride and have not had any issues, or you can order the Fastenal screws and you won't have any issues at all. All in all the gloves are awesome!!!

Easyboot Glove Wide, Give them a try!
Posted By: J. KIRK (EDMOND, OK) May 10, 2012

Have TB with terrible front hooves. They split, chip, and are very thin soled. Although he's been successful without shoes, farrier recommended boots for gravel and trails so he could stay natural. Have only ridden in them twice. Once for 15 mins, and today for an hour. Walk, trot, canter, tight turns, uneven terrain and the boots stayed put. No rubs either! Haven't gotten wet or muddy yet... Did cross big gravel where he always balks and does his ouchy walk. With the Easyboot Glove Wide (after he realized it wouldn't hurt) he went very willingly and wasn't bothered by the gravel. So far, they are absolutely worth it!
