NORMAN (GERMFASK, MI) Jun 10, 2011 I have been using the Old West Trail Saddle for about three years now and I love it. The workmanship and old saddle style are an eye catcher with my friends. If you like the feel of a solid saddle this is the one to use. The seat feels good and deep and is easy on my back. Even though the saddle is a little heavier I believe the design allows good communication with my horse. The only change I made was to switch to aluminum stirrups for larger boots.
