They are such a pretty shade of purple, and seem really durable and well constructed--although I have yet to take them on some trail rides. They fit close and tight around the saddle and also attach to the back cinch, so they don't flap around much at all. My horse had never, to my knowledge, worn saddle bags before, and he doesn't even seem to notice these are on him (walk, trot, or canter)! These bags are a good size, plenty of room to pack for a day trip.
