Tried out a compression sprayer... I like it
Posted By: Rick K (WESTFIELD, MA) Jun 21, 2011
I've used many types of spray bottles for bug spray. To date, I really liked the orange double acting ones best. I tried out one of these Compression Sprayers for a month and I just ordered 3 more.
The spray is more of a light shower rather than a mist... most of it goes where you want it to rather than blowing away in the wind or blowing in the animals eyes.
Once you pump it, you just push the button... much easier to use.
The only drawback, if there is one, is that the container is really big. If you fill it up to the top it does weigh a bit. On the flip side you don't have to fill it as often.
Of course, I've only been using one for a month now. It does feel solid. Time will tell more. Ask me again in a couple years if it is still working. Even the orange ones wear out with heavy use and abuse in a couple-three years. If this one lasts at least that long it will get an A+.
