Well Made Posted By: spottedhorse (Purcell, OK) Jan 9, 2009 This is a very well made german martingale and you can't beat the price. This one will last a long time. I really like the "weighted" reins - double thick leather on the ends. Only draw back so far is that I have a big horse, QH/TB - 16.2 and he's long. The neck piece could be longer for him as well as the piece that goes between the horse's legs and clips to the cinch ring. For a smaller horse it would be a perfect fit. We're hoping the leather does enough stretching, if not will have to have it altered to fit. If your looking for a quality german martingale at an affordable price - you will not be disappointed in this Weaver.
