TIEXIERA (SPARKS, NV) Mar 25, 2012 I have been wearing this helmet for years. About four years ago during a training session I took an extremely hard fall off a runaway horse. Thank goodness I was wearing this helmet. Unbeknownst to me, I had three cracks in the helmet from my fall. Without this helmet I don't know that I would still be able to tell the story today. The warranty had long since expired, but I sent the helmet to the manufacturer anyway and wrote them a letter explaining what had happened; more to thank them for a quality product than anything else. They called me and very willingly sent me a new helmet although I had already bought another. I now have two. My only minor, very minor complaint is the visor does not provide enough shade while trail riding.
