Horses Love Them!
Posted By: R. SMITH (TYLER HILL, PA) Jan 7, 2011
I don't know what they have in them but horses love them. My boys will not even eat other treats. I have one of my boys because of these cookies. He was so shy and I just happened to have them when we met him. I spent a few days with him and he knew they were in the truck and would walk right to the truck and roll the jar around until I opened it and gave him one, he started to let me do things with him where before he was too shy, he knew if he cooperated he got a cookie and he wanted a cookie! He lives here now and still gets his cookies. My other boy loves them too. Our mare didn't want to be caught until Mrs Pastures. Once she got a taste of them she now comes running to me so she'll get her 2 cookies and gets 2 when I turn her out. I now have a friend's pony hooked on them too! I just wish they were cheaper.

My horse and I choose Mrs. Pastures over all other treats!
Posted By: Nikki C. (LISBON, NH) Feb 3, 2009
My horse, Scotty, was recently allergy tested, revealing that he is allergic to alfalfa, corn, and soybean... and most of the treats on the market have one or more of those ingredients. I stated making my own treats for him, but I don't always have the time to make them and often run out. Carrots and apples freeze here in the winter and get soft quickly in the summer, so they don't last very long. I FINALLY found Mrs. Pastures treats - none of my horse's allergens AND they're made with all natural ingredients (a HUGE plus!!). My horse gobbled up the cookie the first time I offered it to him and then begged for more... in fact all of the horses at the barn love Mrs. Pastures! A great treat for any horse - Scotty and I highly recommend them :)

My horse would kill for these
Posted By: babychops (VALLEY CENTER, CA) Aug 7, 2006
She now stands quietly and completely untethered for her fly spray, medical treatments/wound care and mane pulling (which would send her into fits before), has learned to 'touch the belly' or flex, touching the girth area several times each side for a cookie (also without a halter) and now comes galloping from any part of the property when I call her. I will always have these around, they're not only a great training aid - my girl deserves 'em! I can't believe how much easier these cookies have made our lives.
