Adequan IM Equine Is An Excellent Product Posted By: TWH Girl (LAKE MILLS, WI) Jan 24, 2012 I have used Adequan IM Equine several times with great success in managing arthritis and ringbone for my 22 yr old Walker. I also use it annually as a preventative for my 9 yr old Walker. Adequan made a marked difference in the gait of my older horse and his ability to use his hind end comfortably. The IM is very easy to administer (Legend is awesome too, but does require a vet call due to the IV administration). I do keep my horses on a daily oral joint supplement (Cosequin with MSM for younger and a senior all around supplement for the older one) but I use this in the spring to get ready for heavier riding season and shows. It is an excellent product and I would recommend trying it first vs. daily bute, other NSAIDs or joint injections.
