Two of my horses prefer standing in muck to dry bedding, and keeping their feet healthy is an ongoing battle. I've tried a number of daily thrush remedies which are effective, but this one works very well and only requires treatment once per week. It is compact and very easy to use (i.e. not get it all over your hands!) Highly recommend it. Is this testimonial helpful?

It seems to work really well for preventing thrush (I use it whenever the horses start to get icky black stink in their frog or the heel of the hoof, and we haven't had any problems with thrush), but I've also found it works great for "marking" quarter cracks since it seeps up the line of the crack. When I look at the hoof later if the whole crack is "marked" purple then it isn't progressing.
