Dermalone Ointment is useful in the treatment of acute and chronic otitis, in interdigital cysts in cats and dogs, and in anal gland infections in dogs. Dermalone Ointment is also indicated in the management of dermatologic disorders characterized by inflammation and dry or exudative dermatitis, particularly those caused, complicated, or threatened by bacterial or yeast infections. It is also of value in eczematous dermatitis, contact dermatitis, and seborrheic dermatitis; and as an adjunct in the treatment of dermatitis due to parasitic infestation. Each ml of Dermalone Ointment contains 100,000 units nystatin, 2.5 mg neomycin sulfate equivalent to neomycin base, 2500 mg thiostrepton, and 1 mg triamcinolone acetonide in a non-irritating polyethylene and mineral oil base. Frequency of administration is dependent on the severity of the condition. For mild inflammations, application may range from once daily to once a week; for severe conditions Dermalone Ointment may be applied as often as two to three times daily, if necessary. Betagen Topical Spray is used for the treatment of infected superficial lesions in dogs. Betagen Topical Spray contains gentamicin sulfate and betamethasone valerate. Each ml of Betagen Topical Spray contains gentamicin sulfate, USP equivalent to 0.57 mg gentamicin base, and betamethasone valerate, USP equivalent to 0.284 mg betamethasone. Recommended dosage of Betagen Topical Spray is 2 sprays administered 2 to 4 times daily for 7 days. Gentamicin sulfate and betamethasone valerate.
Tresaderm aids in the treatment of certain bacterial, mycotic and inflammatory skin infections and otitis externa (ear infections) in dogs and cats. Both acute and chronic forms of these conditions respond to treatment with Tresaderm. Each ml of Tresaderm contains 40 mg thiabendazole, 1 mg dexamethasone and 3.2 mg neomycin. Prior to the administration of Tresaderm, remove the ceruminous, purulent or foreign materials from the ear canal, as well as the crust which may be associated with dermatoses affecting other parts of the body. Depending on the severity of the condition, 5 to 15 drops should be instilled in the ear twice daily. In treating dermatoses affecting other than the ear, the surface of the lesions should be well moistened (2 to 4 drops per square inch) with Tresaderm twice daily. The volume required will be dependent upon the size of the lesion. Application of Tresaderm should be limited to a period of not longer than one week. Thiabendazole, dexamethasone and neomycin.
Cortisoothe Shampoo is indicated for the temporary relief of inflammation and itching associated with corticosteroid-response skin conditions including atopy and flea bite dermatitis in dogs, cats, and horses. Cortisoothe is a colloidal oatmeal shampoo containing 1% hydrocortisone. Apply to a wet coat, rub into skin, and lather. Wait 5-10 minutes and rinse well. Cortisoothe Shampoo may be used daily or as indicated. Hydrocortisone.
KetoChlor Medicated Shampoo for Dogs, Cats and Horses is a medicated antiseborrheic shampoo for the management of skin conditions responsive to ketoconazole or chlorhexidine. Provides antiseptic, antifungal and cleansing properties. Ketochlor Shampoo reduces the adhesion of bacteria and yeast to the skin, which may reduce skin irritation. KetoChlor Shampoo may be used on dogs, cats and horses. Chlorhexidine gluconate and ketoconazole.
Sebozole Medicated Shampoo is indicated for dermatological conditions associated with infections responsive to miconazole nitrate and chloroxylenol. Provides antibacterial, antifungal and antiseborrheic agents for optimal therapeutic effectiveness. Sebozole Medicated Shampoo may be used on dogs, cats and horses. Miconazole nitrate 2% and chloroxylenol 1%.
