Kid & Lamb Colostrum Replacement

Land O Lakes Colostrum Replacement for Kid Goats and Lambs is formulated to replace or supplement maternal colostrum in the first day of life. Provides the high levels of colostral fat necessary to maintain body temperature, build immunity, and prevent infection. An effective aid in the treatment of failure of passive transfer (FPT) in newborn kid goats and lambs. Especially effective to prevent the spread of diseases including CAE, Johne's disease, or caseous lymphadenitis, that can be transferred through infected colostrum. Newborns should receive their first feeding as soon after birth as possible. Feed 3 times in the first 18 hours of life. The 8.3 oz. bag provides up to 9 feedings.
