Western Dee 89-18045 Horse Bit

The Western Dee Myler Bit 04 Level 2 Without Hooks and Low Port Comfort Snaffle provides an excellent transition from Level 1. The MB 04 mouthpiece will rotate on the tongue and apply tongue pressure; however, it has a small 1/4" port which introduces some tongue relief to the horse, allowing them to swallow and move their tongue when moving forward and relaxed, providing them a release or reward. The mouthpiece is curved, wrapping around the bars and lips instead of pinching, and the sweet iron with copper inlay mouthpiece oxidizes and encourages salivation. The Western Dee 3” without Hooks has stainless-steel rings with fixed attachment to the mouthpiece. This traditional cheek style keeps the mouthpiece from draping on the tongue, providing a more direct signal than a loose ring. The straight side of the ring will not pull through the horse’s mouth and does not pinch. The MB 04 mouthpiece is suitable for a wide range of horses, including green horses, experienced horses entering the Myler System, horses that have been ridden exclusively in a single-jointed mouthpiece, and horses that have not been ridden for a while and need re-schooling.
