AdaquatePurchased the shears for my Angora goats fleece. The handles are partially covered with a thin strip of leather which became unlaced after one shearing. I have three goats to shear, the shears did the job though not very sharp. If I had more goats, I'd spring for the more expensive shears. They were easy to use, I improved my shearing as my technique improved. They are fine for just a few goats.

cheaply madeI bought this for trimming my sheep's tail area. It did the job with some effort. Handle grips are roughly basted on and appear to be some type of cardboard made to look like leather. I should have known, based on the price. Not a precision instrument, but might work for some.
