Odors and stains wash out easily; withstands hundreds of washings (do not clean with harsh chemicals.) It lays flat, will not bunch up, and can be easily cut to fit your whelping box. It provides a soft, insulated, sure-footed surface and will not unravel at the edges to entangle puppies. The dark green color hides dirt and spots. Maintaining your whelping box has never been easier. Machine washable and dryable. Get two and keep a clean replacement available at all times.
BritishLabradors.com uses DryMate liners for lining our puppy whelping boxes. They are highly absorbent and hold up after repeated washings. We recommend them to new puppy owners for their crates and to cover area rugs to protect them during the house-breaking period.

different colorRated 4 out of 5 stars
I had bought this for my first litter and liked it a lot, so I bought some for the current one. It's still a great product and works well to keep things dry and gives the puppies great traction. My only "complaint" is that the color is different now and that's not reflected anywhere. I preferred the green to the current grey, the puppies show up much better on the green background, especially on a webcam.
Not for whelping but nurseryRated 4 out of 5 stars
I do not use these in my whelping box as there is not enough padding and it is not bleachable, but once the pups are starting to walk about 4 weeks it goes under the indoor x pen where I transfer them to. It does have a good grip for their slippery paws compared to cotton fabrics, and it does absorb urine slightly, but I can blot dry those spots until ready to wash. I have not attempted to place in dryer as I am afraid the rubber backing will melt. Takes too long to drip dry though. I'm buying another!
