Rescue! Fly Tape uses VisiTrap optical technology to lure flies to their death. Adhesive-based sticky tape has the VisiTrap pattern, which combines a series of colors in a multi-dimensional pattern that is appealing to insects. Once lured to the patterned tape, flies remain trapped in its sticky adhesive. Brackets at each end of the tape are pre-drilled with a mounting hole for secure hanging, even over angled or rough surfaces. Brackets provide enough weight and tension to help keep tape flat and in place, without twisting. Adhesive remains stable and retains its stickiness throughout the heat of the season. Odor-free and non-toxic. Three count per package.

    • The A B C’s of fly traps.

      Most horse owners need at least three different types of traps.

        A. Use odor traps (the stinky ones you add water to) for house flies at the perimeter of pens, but NEVER use them in the barn, since the odor traps attract flies.

        B. Use sticky traps in the barn to catch house flies and many other flying insects.

      I think this is the best fly tape I have ever used. And, believe me it really works. I am using it while the ext. is trying to find the nest. Again, it's the best and it doesn't have the odor the other fly tapes do.

      I got these as a gift-I know odd gift, but, I run a shelter and have tons of flies due to all the compost and constant litter boxes so it is a battle I always fight...anyway. I like how easy they are to handle and hang...they are nicer to look at and I am less likely to walk into them-having had the conventional ones wrapped in my hair in the past-so these are top notch in my book...and yes, they are totally covered in flies right now-time for new ones.

      I purchased 2 units of these fly traps at least two weeks ago. Upon arrival I hung four individual tapes so far without success. I have caught a daddy long legs and so far only three flies. I am not a fan. knot
