This made banding a 500 lb bull calf quick and easy
For Bigger Calves - PerfectRated 5 out of 5 stars
by A Quiet Man
I waited until my Jersey bull calf was 6 months to band him. I'd read how calves should be banded when they are very young, but I remembered that back in the days when I was much younger, we banded them later. I also read a few articles about the benefits of banding them later and decided that was what I wanted to do. The XL Bander and Latex Bands worked very well for the job. The bander is sturdy and easy to use and the bands were strong. I was working by myself and was still able to accomplish the task with no problem. Honestly, my bull calf resisted the tetanus shot much more than the banding. It was easy, quick and he went about his business right afterwards. I'm glad I bought this product and will get many years of use out of it.
A great castrator.Rated 5 out of 5 stars
A good tight fit. Very effective! Saves cost and risk using the knife.
Great bander, but keep rings warmRated 4 out of 5 stars

The XL bander is the quickest and easiest delayed castration bander I've ever tried, and I've used them all. I'll never use anything else again. But make sure to keep the rings warm in your pocket or stuffed down your boot if you're working in the cold. They snap if you try to put them on the bander when they're cold.
Very satifiedRated 5 out of 5 stars
It's been a little over three weeks since we used them. The ease in which they worked was very nice and they look to be doing very well even on the larger bulls we did 450-500 lb.
Ecellent product!Rated 5 out of 5 stars
We ordered this product a few weeks ago, not knowing if it would really work the way it was advertised or not. Believe me, it does1 Really glad we got it now.
Works WellRated 5 out of 5 stars
I have always used the smaller version of this product but wanted to be able to band older bulls. This product was able to apply the band to a 585 lbs bull without any issue at all.
