      I bought two of these to go on two separate electric fences. So far the fences have not been down but I feel certain I will know when they have a problem.

      As an endurance rider, I regularly camp in remote wilderness areas and my worst nightmare is that one of my horses might get loose in a vast tract of national forest. This little gizmo helps me to sleep at night although it is a bit counter-intuitive--blinking when the fence is NOT charged. Once I got used to it, however, it was great at giving me peace of mind without having to touch the fence myself--ouch!

      This handy device will let you know when your electric fence has lost power or when the voltage drops (based on the setting you switch it on). It alerts you before your livestock finds the fence isn't working.

      Wow, this is the best purchase I have ever made for my electric horse fences. I purchased 3 of them since I have 3 lines around my property on different boxes. I placed them outside a window that I can see easily if for any reason my fence is not working it FLASHES!!!! I then know exactly which fence is in need of care. My neighbor turned me on to it and he has had his for over 5 years.

      This is my second Fence Alert, the first lasted many years.  Before I replaced it, I had a fencing failure and livestock got out, this doesn't happen when that bright red light starts blinking! I was unable to find one in my local farm stores so ordered one and was so pleased when it came in just a few days.  I put the new one on the fence that is easily seen from the house and was able to fix a break in the fence before the animals found it when the light blinked last week!
