Copper Lozenge Link Eggbutt Snaffle Horse Bit

Suitable for most disciplines, the Copper Lozenge Link Eggbutt Snaffle Bit is mild and accepted by most horses. The lozenge style double-jointed mouthpiece lays flat against the horse’s tongue to reduce lateral movement, providing a stable feel and protecting sensitive bars. The copper mouthpiece increase salivation and may assist in relaxing the horse’s jaw. The addition of eggbutt style cheekpieces further protects the horse’s lips from pinching or rubs. Competition legal for most disciplines. Stainless steel with copper. Thickness: 16mm. Ring diameter: 70mm.

When measuring the bit size, always measure the length from the inside of one bit ring (or cheek) to the inside of the opposite one. Make sure the bit is straightened. The thickness of the bit is always measured just inside the bit ring. When placed in the horse’s mouth, there should be maximum of 5mm (1/4”) play on either side of the bit.
