  This medicated shampoo is hard to find in my neck of the woods (southern New Mexico), which is too bad. It truly helps my sweet-itch susceptible Tennessee Walker. Although it doesn't give him complete relief, it eases his itching enough that he's stopped rubbing his butt on trees and only bite-scratches his sides every couple of hours. That doesn't sound like much, but without a shampoo every 10 days or so, he'd rub all the hair off his butt and vigorously bite-scratch almost constantly, which drives me crazy. With the shampoo, I get some peace and quiet.
