ThyroKare Equine Powder

ThyroKare Levothyroxine Sodium Equine Powder is used for correction of conditions associated with hypothyroidism in horses. ThyroKare Equine Powder contains levothyroxine sodium USP (0.22%). Each level teaspoon delivers approximately 12 mg of levothyroxine sodium, USP. The recommended dosage of ThyroKare is 0.5 to 3.0 mg levothyroxine sodium per 100 lbs. body weight given orally once per day, or in divided doses. ThyroKare can be administered by top dressing on grain. To facilitate the adhesion of ThyroKare onto ration, grain may be moistened slightly with water or a liquid supplement.
