Mycoplasma Bovis Bacterin

Indications: Recommended for the vaccination of healthy cattle 60 days of age or older as an aid in the reduction of respiratory disease and arthritis caused by Mycoplasma bovis.

Composition: Contains antigens from three field isolates of M. bovis and their soluble antigens.

Dosage: Using aseptic technique, inject 2 mL subcutaneously in front of the shoulder and midway of the neck, away from the suprascapular lymph node. Revaccinate as recommended by your veterinarian.

Precautions: Store between 35º-45ºF (2º-7ºC). DO NOT FREEZE. Shake well before using. Use entire contents when first opened. Do not vaccinate within 60 days of slaughter. Anaphylactoid reactions can occur. Epinephrine should be on hand in case of anaphylaxis. Hypersensitivity reactions, including delayed hypersensitivity or death, may occur with a biological product and can cause reduced milk reduction in lactating dairy cattle. Persistent swelling and/or injection site nodules may occur. Immune nodules may range between 21cm3 to <1cm3 3-6 days after vaccination and continue to decrease in size up to 28 days after vaccination.

Antidote: Epinephrine.
