First Defense scour preventatives have been in high demand and almost impossible to get your hands on these last few years because they are such game changers. We’re excited to let you know that they’re back in stock just in time for calving season! First Defense products provide immediate immunity against bacterial and viral scours. The newest product, Tri-Shield, offers one-dose protection against E. coli, coronavirus and rotavirus. That means no running pregnant cows through the chute for pre-calving scour vaccines.

The product line includes:

First Defense bolus (5 count or 30 count) with protection against E. coli and coronavirus.

The Dual-Force gel tube offers that same protection but is administered without a balling gun and includes a non-digestible blue dye within the gel that confirms the calf was treated because of the blue-green color of its stool.

Tri-Shield offers protection against all three: E. coli, coronavirus, and rotavirus in the same blue gel tube.
