One night after a rain, and when the sun came out the flies were clinging to the horses by the hundreds. I sprayed them with a name brand product, and within 15 minutes the flies were starting to land on them again, and I had practically soaked their legs with the spray (pyrethrin base). I remembered the bottle of Tempo SC I had purchased a while back and decided now was the time to try it. I took the horses out of the barn and sprayed the perimeter (away from food and water) of their stalls--including gates and framework, I also sprayed the doors and in front of the barn. Then I sprayed the areas were the horses congregate in their pens and around the bottom of their water tanks (careful not to overspray in the tanks themselves) There was immediate knock down and a huge reduction of flies. Now, 5 days later, the reduction of flies is still significant. I've used many fogging type fly sprays (barn and dairy) over the years and by far this is the best one yet for the lasting effects. This is a great product to use no matter if you live in town or out in the country. I can't say if the manufacturer really recommends this or not but we use it to spray the outside and inside of our home every fall and never have "bug issues" when the weather turns colder. Works and lasts a long time. Is this testimonial helpful?
