i was getting tired of so much waste of hay as my 28 yr. young appaloosa had started having trouble with his teeth and is not eating as cleanly as he used to. the horse dentist suggested a hay net to slow him down and keep the hay together. the top load hay bag is great!! it is so easy to use and i have no more wasted hay. it is very well made and durable. i attach it by the snaps to the window grill in his stall at night and then take it outside and attach it around the bottom of a fence post during the day. no mess, no waste, i recommend the Top Load Hay Bag highly. i plan on purchasing another so i have one for inside and one for outside. The hayracks in our barn have spacing on the sides that are large enough to pull an entire flake of hay through and onto the stall floor, making for alot of kicked-around and wasted hay. With a goal to stop wasting and to slow the consumption I purchased three different haybags to test out as an "insert" in our racks. When considering ease of filling, ease of securing, minimizing waste, and quality of materials this bag is the sure winner. The two adjustable length straps worked easily to secure the bag in the rack at various heights. Unlike another haybag, this one stayed inside the rack. I even tested it in the stall of our "naughty" boy who is easily bored and makes a toy of everything. I'll be ordering at least 3 more. Is this testimonial helpful?

This hay bag is the best I have used. So much easier to fill than the net bags. It fits between 3-5 flakes (almost a 1/4 bale), depending on your bale size. The windows reduce waste and the top straps make it easy to carry and hang anywhere. Is this testimonial helpful?

This item is great. I bought one just to see if I would like it. The quality is very good, sturdy, well made and nice fabric, without being overly bulky. Horses just love it and with the multiple front openings, they don't pull out huge chunks of hay on to the ground. They just get a mouthful and go back for more. I am now coming back and buying some more bags. Great product !!! Is this testimonial helpful?

This hay bag is really great quality and is large enough to give plenty of hay for a long trip or for continuous access in the stall. It does have a loop on the back to secure the bag from spinning and the stiff top makes it easy to load while the long handle makes it easy to carry over your shoulder. The grid on the front saves you from picking up most of your hay from the floor. Is this testimonial helpful?
