Insecticide ear tags have been proven effective in the control of horn flies and other pests. These specific ear tags for livestock contain and release insecticide, which is then distributed over the animal’s body during body movement, grooming or rubbing.

Fly tags are divided into three general classes of chemicals: permethrin, organophosphate and abamectin. With each chemical class comes different protective benefits against horn flies and face flies. Rotating to a different chemical class on an annual basis can help prevent horn fly resistance.

Looking for better fly control for cattle? Look to insecticide tags for livestock that provide months-long control against costly horn flies, Gulf Coast ticks, spinose ear ticks, lice and more.
