Dexamethasone Injection is indicated for the treatment of primary bovine ketosis and as an anti-inflammatory agent in cattle and horses. As supportive therapy, dexamethasone may be used in the management of various rheumatic, allergic, dermatologic, and other diseases known to be responsive to anti-inflammatory corticosteroids. Dexamethasone is indicated for the treatment of acute musculoskeletal inflammation in horses. Each ml of Dexamethasone Injection contains 2 mg dexamethasone. Dexamethasone Injection is recommended for IM or IV administration. The usual dosage for cattle is 5-20 mg. The usual dosage for horses is 2-5.5 mg. Dexamethasone.
