The HomeAgain XS Microchip for dogs and cats offers the same identification and lost pet recovery benefits as the original HomeAgain Microchip but with a smaller gauge needle for easier implanting. The HomeAgain XS microchip comes preloaded in a sterile applicator for injection under the loose skin, between the shoulder blades. Each microchip package also contains a collar ring and yellow tag that is embossed with the microchip number and HomeAgain pet recovery phone number, a wallet ID card, and 4 barcode stickers with microchip numbers. After initial microchip registration in the HomeAgain Lost Pet Recovery Database (for an additional fee), your pet is registered for their lifetime and you can update your contact information at any time, free of charge. If your pet gets lost and is taken to an animal shelter or veterinarian, they will scan the microchip with a microchip scanner to read the unique microchip ID number. HomeAgain uses this information to contact you and reunite you with your pet. HomeAgain microchips can be registered at www.homeagain.com or by using the included form.
