I've had it up for a little over a week and there are hardly any flies in the barn. We've got 7 horses in the stalls and we keep the end doors open throughout the day and this system works!

This is the second barn in which we have installed this system. We are presently located next to a pasture of cattle in Kansas and there is not a single fly to be found in the barn and the horses are comfortable. I do agree that the timer is an irritant and I have to wear glasses to read it or set it, have my barn help do it, or just over-spray to be sure. I have the sprayers in mid-isle and in the back of the stalls away from the feed and water. I have very reactive, thin-skinned horses and no hives, no reactions. A HUGE bonus? No Brown Recluses anymore.

My husband and I just had a new barn built on a property we just bought. I had forgotten how vicious the flies can be in Phoenix on the summer. We have had this same system in another barn before, and we were extremely happy with it, so there was no question what we were going to order when we realized  a spray system was a must. My husband spent the day installing it, and it went very smoothly. There was certainly an adequate amout of hose and nozzles for our application, and it was up and running in less than a day. I have only one negative comment about the product. The system hasn't changed it's timer and delivery clock in the years intervening when we purchased our last fly system, which was 1997! I was shocked that they are using the same ancient analog clock and timer device when pretty much everything now is digital, and it would seem like an easy thing to design and use instead of the analog system. This isn't a deal breaker, however. Overall, it's a good value for the money spent, and my horses are happier.
