The Destron Fearing Global Pocket Reader Plus (GPR+) Universal Microchip Scanner is a portable reader used to scan an animal's implanted microchip for easy animal identification. The Global Pocket Reader Plus reads 134.2 kHz (ISO), 128 kHz and 125 kHz (FDX-A) microchips in a wide range of technologies, including FDX-B ISO, HDX ISO, FDX-A (FECAVA), Trovan and Avid Encrypted. It will also read EID livestock tags and buttons. ISO compatible. Capable of reading implanted microchips in multiple animal species, including: horses, dogs, cats, rabbits, and birds. Global Pocket Reader Plus reads and stores up to 3,000 microchip numbers. Easily transfer data from the Global Pocket Reader Plus to your computer using provided USB cable or Bluetooth. Alternatively, connect the reader to your iPhone or iPad through wireless Bluetooth connection. When reading microchips with temperature-sensing implants, reader displays and stores microchip temperature.
