Parasite control package for yearlings, 2 year-olds, and adult horses that need to be dewormed 2 times per year, according to their Fecal Egg Count (FEC) test results, deeming them a low-shedder of parasite eggs.
Developed by the Valley Vet Supply Technical Service Veterinarian team. Offers young horses and adult horses deemed low-shedders a comprehensive, convenient pack to help ensure horse health and reduced parasite burden. Package contains two Zoetis dewormers, to be used as follows:
Recommendations: Perform fecal egg count (FEC) tests yearly for each horse. Perform fecal egg count reduction test (FECRT) in both foals and adult horses every other year. In herds with high numbers of horses, FECRT does not need to be performed on all horses six is the recommended number.
