I have 2 small grandchildren that love to go riding. Now, finally we can do it without being crowded into my saddle. We have used it only a couple of times, and I love it. I was very nervous at 1st, but she felt very secure and comfortable, she loved it. Best investment I have made. Is this testimonial helpful?

I only have one horse, and I have two little boys, and I found out quickly that they perfer to NOT ride in front of me... and their legs are a bit short still for the back. So, I bought the buddy seat and am so happy!! It is easy to install...took a bit of experiementing with tightness and such, but that is not a big deal. It is a secure seat and comfortable to the child. I like the fact that if I need to tighten it while riding I don't need to get off my horse. I had to give up my saddle bags for pommel bags...and it works so well with kids. Now, I have trouble getting on my horse after the kid is in the buddy seat, but we manage! :)

I have had a buddy saddle for at least 4 years. The padding snuggles around the child when the back straps are tightened keeping them secure. They love having their own stirrups. I first tried it on the horse without the child to make sure the horse would except the extra baggage. It sure beats having them in the saddle with you that caused me back pain. Is this testimonial helpful?
