My horse was confined to his stall for several months due to an injury. He developed thrush in the first two weeks, so I started using Thrush Off. I brushed it on, and then used a toothbrush to work it in. I noticed the smell was gone the next morning. I brushed it on a few more times just to make sure it was cleared up and after that I used it once a week as a preventitive, but stopped after 3 weeks because there was no sign of more thrush. After four months of stall rest, my horse didnt develope any more thrush. I still had half the bottle left from all that, so a little does go a long way, and it seems to work well as a preventitive. The blue color also washes off your hands with soap & water, so it doesnt stain like other "blue" stuff. I have also used it on white line with good results, and I like to brush it on after hoof trims as a preventitive- it really soaks in! Great stuff, I will always keep this around. Winter is aproaching and the mud will be here: This is a must have product that really really works super fast. I used this product on a donkey that was rescued and i had never seen or smelled thrush so bad in my entire life. I treated him, after his first trim and used the tooth brush to reach hidden area's in the sulcus, the next day i treated him again and it appeared to be gone, fantastic stuff!!!!! I was given this product by my farrier to try when my daughters horse started to show signs of thrush. I treated her hoof once a week with this medication. Farrier instructed it to be placed on then scrubbed with a toothbrush. I was amazed with how quickly it cleared up the thrush and healed her hoof. Wonderful product.
