Not so good...
Posted By: V. Bailey (Woodruff, SC) Feb 6, 2013
While Antihist is going through their issues I had to find another cough medicine. I have a 15 year old Appaloosa who coughs a lot. Sometimes when she is just standing still but mostly after trotting and cantering. The Antihist would keep her from coughing any at all. On Command-Allergy she does not cough standing still but still coughs after trotting and cantering. It does not work and my horse also hates the taste I have to add molasses to get her to eat it.

My 16 year Old Quarter Horse has been dealing with respiratory problems for 3 years. Command Allergy has helped him alot and I would recommend this product if your horse has heaves or any kind of allergy/respiratory problems..It might be your answer to your horses relief. I've been able to take my horse completely off steroids!

Command-Allergy Is The Best Allergy Supplement I Have Found!
Posted By: Pinkepona (ORLAND PARK, IL) Apr 14, 2012
I have tried just about everything out there for my coughing mare. She has bad allergies. The Command Allergy keeps her from coughing right away. I give her a large dose when she coughs or when the allergy counts are high, then I can cut it back and she is still comfortable.

Command-Allergy I Like It
Posted By: MrJingles65 (FREEDOM, PA) Dec 24, 2011
Ive been using Command-Allergy for about five months and i am very happy with the outcome, it was kind slow working at first, but now the horse does not cough at all. I do not know if the reduction in coughting is from the product or the change in seasons, but i will continue to use this product as long as my horse is not coughing.

Command Allergy
Posted By: dbailey (CLOVERDALE, OR) Sep 1, 2011
We used Command Allergy this summer with our older 4-H gaming/equitation mare. She qualified for state in both divisions. It worked very well-relieving her heavy breathing after gaming and I like the fact that the product is herbal. It is easy to put in her daily grain.

COPD horse
Posted By: Fancy and Melanie (DORCHESTER, NE) Jun 26, 2011
I have tried multiple treatments for COPD, most of which have not worked. Although it is a cooler summer this year and my mare is on pasture more than ever before (and not in a dirt lot), she has been on Command only for a month; I would still say I have seen improvement.

Helps that Cough
Posted By: Otter Mare (LOS ALAMOS, NM) Jun 8, 2011
I tried Command Allergy for my horse when she was suffering from a nasty cough. Shipped from the East Coast, she developed a cough and lethargy. We took care of the underlying illness, but when I stopped using this product, I saw how much it was helping her. When I've run out in the past, (bad owner!) we see a real difference(much more coughing), and I put her right back on it. I think she is allergic to the Southwest, and Command Allergy really helps her deal with it.
Her cough is not gone, but I think Command Allergy really keeps it from becoming a problem. I recommend giving it a try, and if you stop using it, watch for a worsening of symptoms, which improve when you start up the supplement again.

Goldy Update
Posted By: Miss Goldy (Plainwell, MI) Jan 6, 2010
This product I believe has saved my horse's life. She has COPD and now when she has a day of heaving, I think I will have to have the vet out again and in many cases the next day her breathing was normal. I believe this product has helped with some healing in her lungs. Thank you

Looks promising for my horse Goldy.
Posted By: Miss Goldy (Plainwell, MI) Dec 8, 2008
My 13 y/o horse Goldy from Allegan, Mi, has COPD. She was getting worse; rapid breathing, runny nose, continuous coughing, loosing weight, even after her prednizone injection. After talking with many horse people, I finally talked with a local horse trainer who had a horse with COPD that she used an herbal supplement on and got 8 more years out of her horse. So I changed Goldy's feeding program and started her on Command Allergy. It must have been the right choice. Now after 3 1/2 weeks on this, she has not had any rapid breathing, hardly any runny nose and coughs once in a while and has gained weight. So I believe in this product and will keep her on it.
