It gives the animal the right amount of shine needed to set him/her apart. Use SPARINGLY. A little goes a long ways and you have to be careful to not get the animal feeling greasy. We lightly coat the entire animal, then use a rice root brush to sweep the gloss covered hair straight back. It keeps the Weaver Glossy Finishing Spray in the coat as well as increases the shine. I would give this product 4/5 stars. When spraying, hold away from body. The misting head tends to leak. :)
