I put my 17 yo TWH on it and she is an extremely hard keeper and she gained 87 lbs in one week. The first week I had hard keeper I gave it to her twice a day, then once she gained to 1019 lbs I started giving it only once a day just to maintain her weight, so far it's worked like a dream. Before I had her on a 12% feed, with 4 cups of Alfafa 2 x day, also 1 cup rice bran 2 x day and she still wasn't gaining weight. After putting her on the hard keeper I don't have any problems with her keeping her weight on nor does she have any stomach issues with the use of Hard Keeper. I recommend this product for sure.
