A product that actually works!
Posted By: D. Rice (MIRA LOMA, CA) Aug 29, 2007
I have a 26 year old gelding who has moderate navicular changes, hock arthritis & seems to have developed some arthritis in his back fetlock joints. I apply Equi Block DT 2 times a day around his coronet band and 1/2 way up his pasterns on both front feet as directed by the manufacture. I am happy to say that with the exception of having his shoes put on, he is off bute all together and quite comfortable. I also apply this product to his back fetlock joints and have seen quite a bit of improvement. During the winter months I was also applying to this to his hocks, but discovered when summer arrived it was no longer necessary for the hocks. This horse gets ridden on the trails 1-2 X a week 2-3 hours each ride. I prefer to keep him at a walk but when he gets to the river trails he always offers more! So now I acutally have argue with him to keep him at a walk. This product has made a wonderful difference for my horse. Prior to running accross this product I was debating on trying injections because he was so uncomfortable all the time, even on bute. But as we all know injections especially given in the foot/ P3 area can have very bad & permanent side effects. One note however, I would recommend very strongly that before using this product you have your horse x-ray'd by your vet so you know the exact cause of your horse's pain.

equi-block is a great product

My dressage horse has had sore hocks for a couple of years. Despite Legend and Adequan injections, he refused to do movements he was very capable of. Since using Equi-bloc, he is comfortable and performs beautifully. I recommend it highly!
