I found using the blower works the quickest and best to get the dust out of my horses. Blowing really cleans the coat, and gives them a freshly bathed look. Their hair coats are very shiny, since vacuuming does not strip the oils from their coats like shampooing does. I also prefer this unit, which hangs from my shoulder, so I do not have to deal with a canister on wheels dragging around the horse's hooves. After a couple of years of constant use, the hose cracked, so I ordered a new one from the manufacturer. The new hose was much sturdier, and looks great after thousands of uses years later.
