It's almost as glossy as hoof paint, very durable, and I think much better for his feet. I don't have to worry about removing it after the show. Actually, having tried every brand out there of clear hoof paint, this gives the nicest look to his feet for an excellent presentation and good detail to my pony's overall turnout.
