Establishing a good horse vaccination schedule is vital to protecting your horse against infectious diseases. When you begin a horse vaccination program, two or more doses protecting against each disease are often needed to initiate an adequate immune response. Over time, the protective antibodies provided by the initial horse immunizations will decline. Regular booster vaccinations against each disease will bring immunity to adequate levels and minimize the potential for illness.
