      Stuff works great not only to keep flies off wounds but I apply a small amount on my finger tip to smear under my animals eyes to ward flies off. Never a problem with flies bothering my mount out on the trail.

      Tiny flies were biting the insides of my horse's ears, and leaving crusty scabs/exudates. ONE application repelled the flies and stopped the crust dead in its tracks. Plus, the pink color (original form of SWAT) made it easy to see when the application had worn off...which has taken over a week so far, and still visible. I am not going to be without this product ever again. My horses love me.

      I use SWAT as a fly repellent and a moisturizer for my horses ears. I have also used it on wounds that have scabbed to keep them soft. This year my horses got a dry itch around and threw their mains. I used SWAT on it and it softened up and I picked it off.

      This is invaluable during fly season, especially if there are cattle in the area and pigeon fever is running around. It is clear and really helps keep those flies from biting at the bellies and face.

      I use this all year long on my horses eyes to help with flies and gnats. I also use it on my Palomino's midline to help keep her from rubbing it raw. It works great for both.

      Flies in the ears were a huge problem, one of our horses was even developing plaques from them. Every few days I apply Swat liberally to the ears, and it has essentially eliminated ear sores and made my guys MUCH more comfortable. I only wish it came in a bigger jar!

      Started using this summer and it is great!! Works great for ears, chest and sores. It does attract dirt, but sure the horses rather have dirt than gnats!!

      I use this on my horses muzzle cuz the fly mask doesn't go down that far and it works so well and being clear, neither of them look like a pink pony running around lol I also use this on small cuts they have when they ding themselves up on a normal basis and it keeps the flies off and allows them to heal. Love this stuff!

      I use swat every summer to keep gnats off my horse's midline and the inside of the ears. The pink appears to be thicker and stays on longer than the clear and you can see when you have to reapply.

      I applied this to my horse for 2 days and he had a reaction to it. He started to break out with blisters and his whole underbelly/swath area that I applied it on was on fire. I had to wash him down with cool water and mild soap to remove the ointment and then continued applying cool compresses to the affected area for several hours. It took 3 days for the heat to really leave. Banamine and bute were administered under vet care to help him threw this. Also I had to go on line to read about the product, there wasn't anything that came with the purchase. For 1st time user, would apply small amount and watch for reaction. I do believe the delay in reaction was because the vet had given him a banaime shot on Monday. I feel this slowed down his reaction for 24 hrs.

      I use this not only for small abrasions but also around sensitive areas early in the spring when a certain type of fly bites the horses and leaves big welts/sores if not controlled in some way. I just spread it on and it repels them for at least 2 days, longer if not sweated or rinsed off.
