MiraFount Model 3410

Now a livestock waterer requiring no electricity, the MiraFount Model 3410 saves 100% of your energy costs. The MiraFount Model 3410 is university-tested with results that showed that the fountain worked when temperatures were at -100 degrees wind chill and never required any external energy source. The MiraFount also eliminates algae problems, preventing the water from being exposed to sunlight. This livestock waterer works on the same principle as a thermos bottle. Water enters the MiraFount at 45 to 48 degrees and the floats seal the water away from outside. Whenever an animal drinks, it removes a quantity of water which is immediately replaced by ground water through the valve. This exchange of water keeps the water warm even in the coldest climate. The MiraFount has the capacity for 100 head of hogs and up to six gallons of water.

This product has been tested in the continental U.S. to remain frost-free with as few as 6 head drinking every other day. The frame and cover are made of high impact Rock-ite for durable and long-lasting use. Each model comes with anchors for mounting to concrete pad, pipe insulation, and a section of 3/4" PVC pipe. The size of this product, including its two lift-up lids, is 19” x 32” x 16 ½”.
