Constant-delivery foal resuscitator is designed to inflate the lungs of newborns that are unable to breathe, but that have a heartbeat. Two plastic cylinders draw air through induction valves at one end and direct it to the animal through a facemask. Bi-directional valve allows animal to exhale without the need to remove the unit, then pumps fresh air back into lungs, not the same air that was exhaled as other units do, therefore delivering more oxygen. Includes an aspirator mask that fits on back side of unit to help clear airway of mucus, and a supplemental oxygen adapter which can be attached to your portable oxygen bottle (not included) if needed.
