- The Therapeutic Poll Pad fabric is infused with far-infrared emitting minerals to promote blood circulation, helping the poll and neck with overall pain, stiffness and tension. Poll pad keeps head and upper neck muscles supple and relaxed, reducing anxiety and stimulating recovery time. Use on the cheeks to help with any TMJ issues or lockjaw. Aids in the reduction of headshaking. Designed for versatility, use easily over a noseband, chinstrap, browband or cheek pieces. Western or English. Easy on-off Velcro closures for use on halter or bridle. Fabric is breathable with moisture-wicking qualities. May be used year-round.
  
  Directions for use: Benefab recommends an introduction period of 1-2 hours per day for the first week. Slowly increase wear time up to 12 hours per day (or as needed). Ideal to put on horse’s head 30 minutes prior to riding. Machine wash in cold with a mild detergent, line dry only.
