Endovac-Equi® with Immune Plus®
Salmonella Typhimurium Bacterin-Toxoid
For vaccination of healthy equids six months of age or older to aid in the prevention of endotoxin-mediated diseases caused by Salmonella typhimurium and Escherichia coli.
Administrations & Dosage: Shake well before use. Inject 1mL into the musculature of healthy equids. Repeat in 2 or 3 weeks. Administer a 1 mL booster dose annually. Use entire contents when opened.
Caution: Store at 2-7°C (35-45°F). Do not freeze. Do not vaccinate within 21 days of slaughter. Do not vaccinate a horse with a history of laminitis or following a recent episode of acute endotoxemia. Do not vaccinate horses recently administered progesterone or steroids. Do not vaccinate horses during active training periods. Horses should be given moderate exercise or turned on pasture following vaccination. Local swelling and tenderness at the injection site may occur with the use of this vaccine. Resolution of these signs usually occurs in 3-5 days but occasionally in 10 days or more. Lethargy, inappetance and stiffness may occur lasting up to 2-3 days. If anaphylactic reaction occurs, administer epinephrine and other sound medical procedures should be implemented.
