I have this 10 year old quarter horse that has always been a "green broke" horse. He always needed a direct rein for turns, his stops were less than to be desired for because it would always take both hands and your whole body to pull him to a stop if you needed a quick stop, he fought you every step of the way when backing up by tucking his nose down to his chest and just holding it there, and when he gallops he would put his nose down to the ground which encouraged him to buck/crowhop. Since the first moment I slipped this bit into his mouth, "Ryan" changed EVERYTHING! His turns were competely neckreined and shorter, he did his first rollback, his stops were crisp everytime and his feet slid right under him where they were supposed to be, he would back up WITHOUT a fight and it only took a light rein to get him to back up, and the second he would drop his head during a lope all I had to do was pick up his rein and he would immediately pick up his head! I have never been so proud of this horse and never been so IMPRESSED with how well Sliding Gag Bit Ryan works WITH him. I am not saying it will work for everyone's horse but I will say it worked tremendously for mine!! Thank you Charmayne James and Valley Vet for carrying top of the line equipment!
