I can't say anything for any other hoof supplement because I've never used them, but for those sitting on the fence about trying them, this one WORKS. I bought a 4-year-old paint gelding with HORRIBLE feet. He had racing aluminum shoes on all four feet because he couldn't hold steel shoes (he's a pleasure horse!); there was no hoof wall to put a nail in.
